On their first outing the newly established Team Tiree won the team prize at the inaugural Mull Cyclo-Sportive; a 42 or 85 mile cycle around the Isle of Mull. Representing Tiree were Gordon Scott, Joe Kavanagh, Robert Trythall and Will Wright, together with a few honorary members from further afield (Stevie, Andy and Mark).

The first meeting of Team Tiree was last Saturday with 29 people meeting up at Sandaig for a cycle around the Moss loop. A whole mix of ages completed the 10km course with a couple of the guys going for an extra lap to make it 20km. This was to be the gentle introduction to Team Tiree! From this we’ll hopefully put together a few training dates and get some events in the diary. If anyone wants to sign up for Team Tiree and benefit from coaching sessions, events and discounted team kit please just drop me an email or give me a call. This will hopefully gain momentum this summer so make sure you are part of the Team.
