“After training hard on the island involving walks of up to 22 miles, I joined my sister and 2 nieces (1 pregnant) and, just before midnight set off in the wind and rain to walk round Edinburgh including ascending Arthur’s seat.”
This was Jackie’s second time at the Moonwalk and it sounds like the training was all worthwhile as she felt much stronger this time round. Jackie trains at the gym every monday, she goes to Circuits, Pilates and Boot Camp, as well as doing her own training. She is one of the hardest working and determined gym goers and proved herself by doing the 26 mile event and in doing so raising funds for a very worthwhile cause.
