It’s mid week in the Autumn Training Camp out here in Puerto Pollensa. So far this week we’ve had everyone out running before breakfast every day; starting the day running along the coast as the sun comes up has been fantastic. We followed this with a trail run yesterday to the gorgeous seaside village of Cala St Vicenc. To give the legs a rest the day was finished with a RipCord session mixed with some impromptu netball. It’s been wonderful to see another group bond and bring out the best in each other, with so many of the group exceeding their own expectations. We’re only half way through the week so there’s plenty more yet to come. Today is challenge day so everyone has set themselves a mission based on their own ability and aspirations – either swimming, trail running, cycling, triathlon, press ups and even paddle boarding. One of the great things about having a mixed ability group is that it really brings out the best in everybody; the competition is within ourselves, and all achievements are recognised. And so challenge day continues….
