For the last 2 weeks we’ve been lucky enough to be out in Mallorca catching up on some sunshine, holiday time and some pre-season training. The second week was a training camp with London based coaching company RG Active. It was a week of triathlon coaching covering everything from fitness training to swim technique, transitions, brick sessions, group riding skills and nutrition. A fantastic week and I would highly recommend this to anyone who takes part in endurance sports – if you’ve not used a coach before there’s a whole load you’re missing out on and their input is incredibly useful, even if you cant see them on a regular basis it’s well worth getting some feedback on your training from someone who knows what they’re doing.
Anyway, I’m back on Tiree so if you’re one of my clients and you’ve not been doing your homework (yes you did have homework!) then you better get yourself ready for some pain! Gym sessions start again on Monday (28th) and circuits started last night and will continue next Thursday. Spring is here, lets get moving and get in shape for the summer season. I’ll see you in the gym.
