Tiree 10K

The Tiree 10k is an annual fun run on the Hebridean island of Tiree. The event actually includes several different races so there is something for all ages and abilities. Entry forms can be downloaded from this site.

The event started in 2006 and has grown to be a much anticipated event on the island calendar. Visiting runners are welcome along with local residents to come and enjoy being active in beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is friendly and continues into the night with the ceilidh at An Talla. Event timings are posted in the evening but there is a prizegiving straight after the event where there are prizes for overall results, age groups, teams and some spot prizes.

Tiree 10k 2012

Event date: 26th May 2012

The course this year will follow the same route as last year; starting on the beach and then following the road to Hynish and back, returning on the road past Island House before getting back on the beach for the finish.
