35 miles around Tiree

The route will start and finish on Gott Bay. The longest of the 14 beaches you will visit. This legendary beach has been known to test the bravest of souls. Hail, wind, rain and even snow has lashed across these sands. But more often than not Tiree is bathed in bright sunshine. Whatever the day brings, your ultramarathon journey starts and finishes here:

  • Start line on the beach outside the Lodge Hotel at 8am
  • Run anti-clockwise around the island keeping the sea on your right hand side
  • Finish back on Gott Bay and refresh, refuel and celebrate at the Lodge

Race HQ will be at The Lodge Hotel all weekend including event sign-in, number collection and finish info. The Lodge Hotel will be serving food, and there will be live music and celebrations well into the evening. Full details and timings will be sent out nearer the time. It's going to be an amazing weekend. See you on the beach!

“We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made the weekend so amazing, the island, the route, the marshals, the fellow runners……. It was all just perfect. We couldn’t have had a better weekend, and now we are just a bit sad it is over...till next year anyway!!”
“Superb from start to finish – can’t stop grinning! Love Tiree!”
“Thank you for an amazing weekend, loved it & looking forward to coming back next year!!”
